What is the ALLFLEET Liquid Armor HD Warranty?

The ALLFLEET Liquid Armor HD Warranty is a limited warranty where RelaDyne, Inc. will reimburse you at reasonable cost for the repair or replacement of up to 16 engine parts that fail as a direct primary result of the ALLFLEET oil used.

How do I qualify for the warranty?

To qualify for the ALLFLEET Liquid Armor HD Warranty, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a legal resident of the United States;
  • Your vehicle must qualify as an Eligible Vehicle;
  • You must be the owner or lessee of the eligible vehicle;
  • • You must have your oil changed exclusively with ALLFLEET engine oils, either by you or by an automotive center, commercial oil change facility, or auto dealer who uses ALLFLEET engine oil; and
  • Your name must appear on the Statement of Warranty available after you enroll.
Is there a charge for the warranty?

No. ALLFLEET prides itself on being a superior heavy duty engine oil. Because of the quality of our products, we can stand behind them with the ALLFLEET Liquid Armor HD Warranty. If you use ALLFLEET and change your oil regularly, your engine should not break down due to the oil used. But if it does, ALLFLEET has you covered when you enroll in our Limited Engine HD Warranty.

What parts and costs are covered under the warranty?

This limited warranty covers 16 engine parts, including:

Cylinder lining or bore; pistons and piston rings; engine connecting rods and rod bearings; cam shaft and bearings; crankshaft and bearings; rocker arms and pivots; lube pump assembly; gear train gears; wrist pins and bushings; valve lifter

The total limit of liability for a claim or claims related to your vehicle is $6,000 for Class 2-6 Eligible Vehicles and $10,000 for Class 7-8 Eligible Vehicles. In no event shall the payment of any claim exceed the fair market value of your vehicle. See Terms & Conditions for more information.

How do I apply for the warranty?

To apply for this warranty, complete the Enrollment form (except in states where registration is not required) by clicking here. Upon completion of the enrollment process, a Statement of Warranty will be issued for you to print for your records. The Statement of Warranty will have on it the information you filled in, including your vehicle’s identification number (VIN) and odometer reading, both are important information for eligibility in the warranty.

When does the warranty start?

This limited warranty takes effect 90 days after your first eligible purchase of ALLFLEET engine oil or 10,000 miles/200 hours (for Class 2 – Class 6) or 25,000 miles/500 hours (for Class 7 – Class 8) after your initial ALLFLEET engine oil installation, whichever occurs last.

How long does the warranty last?

As long as you comply with the terms and conditions, this limited warranty covers the engine parts listed above that fail as a direct primary result of lubrication related failure from the time you were eligible for this limited warranty up to 10 years or 400,000 miles/8,000 hours for exclusive use of ALLFLEET Synthetic Blend Heavy Duty engine oils, or up to 10 years, 600,000 miles/12,000 hours for exclusive use of ALLFLEET Full Synthetic Heavy Duty engine oils, whichever occurs first.

Eligibility

What is an “Eligible Vehicle?”

An “Eligible Vehicle” is a privately owned or leased (if you are primarily obligated for repairs and maintenance) vehicle that meets one of the following:

  • Class 2 – Class 6 with a heavy duty diesel engine used in on-road applications with a gross vehicular weight of 26,000 lbs. or less and the odometer has fewer 75,000 miles (1,500 hours) at the time of the initial use of ALLFLEET engine oil and whose manufactured date is within the last 60 months of your initial use of ALLFLEET engine oil.
  • Class 7 – Class 8 with a heavy duty diesel engine used in on-road applications with a gross vehicular weight of 80,000 lbs. or less and the odometer has fewer 300,000 miles (6,000 hours) at the time of the initial use of ALLFLEET engine oil and whose manufactured date is within the last 30 months of your initial use of ALLFLEET engine oil.

Vehicles used, registered, modified, or leased for off-road, agricultural or competition purposes do not qualify for this limited warranty. Vehicles subject to abnormal driving conditions or vehicles used in any manner not recommended by the vehicle manufacturer also do not qualify.

Do vehicles with newly replaced or rebuilt engines qualify for the warranty?

No. The warranty will not guarantee a vehicle that has been modified due to the unknown effect modifications could have on the engine’s performance.

How many vehicles may I have registered under the program?

There is no limit to the number of vehicles you can have enrolled in the program. An account is signified by the username (email address) used to enroll in the Warranty. After enrolling one vehicle, you can then log in to your new account and enroll additional vehicles.

I live in California; do I need to register online?

No, by state law you are not required to register online. But with online registration, you’ll receive important updates from RelaDyne and ALLFLEET via email as well as coupons to help you maintain your warranty.

Do I have to use ALLFLEET oil to keep the Warranty?

Yes. In order to keep your Warranty from becoming void, you will need to change your vehicle’s oil exclusively and continuously with ALLFLEET HD engine oils, and the ALLFLEET engine oil must be properly installed.

Maintaining Your ALLFLEET Liquid Armor HD Engine Warranty

How often should I change my oil to keep my Warranty from voiding?

To keep your Warranty from voiding, change your vehicle’s engine oil as often as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM) using ALLFLEET engine oil.

I use synthetic motor oil; am I still required to change my oil as often as my owner manual states?

Yes. One of the main functions of engine oil is to remove contaminants and combustion by-products from the engine by holding them in suspension. Although synthetic engine oils are designed to provide better protection under extreme heat and heavy loads, any oil will reach a saturation point where it can no longer hold the contaminants and protect the engine from them.

I did not follow the oil change requirements specified in my owner manual; does this mean my warranty is void?

Yes. To maintain warranty coverage, you must change your vehicle’s oil and oil filter at least as often as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Do I have to change my oil filter every time I change the oil?

Yes. You will need to follow all scheduled engine maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer. Service your vehicle’s engine in the service classification and viscosity grade as recommended by the manufacturer. Change the oil and oil filter at least as often and as recommended by the manufacturer. Maintain your vehicle’s emission control system in compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendation. Replace your vehicle’s air filter and air cleaner elements at least as often as recommended by the manufacturer.

Do I need to keep my receipts?

Yes! Your receipts are your proof of purchase of ALLFLEET engine oil and will be required if you ever need to make a claim.

I am missing a few of my oil change receipts from my records, and am unable to obtain copies. Does this mean that my warranty is void?

Yes. The retention and legibility of your service/purchase receipts are very important. Should you ever have the need to submit a claim, we will need to clearly identify from your receipts that ALLFLEET engine oil and a new oil filter were purchased, any manufacturer required services were performed and the mileage at time of service and complete vehicle information.

Transferring Your Warranty

I recently sold my car; how do I transfer my warranty to the new owner?

You can transfer this warranty before your vehicle has 100,000 miles/2,000 hours (for Class 2 – Class 6) or 500,000 miles/10,000 hours (Class 7 – Class 8), but only if the person you transfer it to has copies of your receipts or can prove your compliance with the terms of this limited warranty.

The new owner will complete the online Enrollment form using the Vehicle Identification Number of the vehicle under warranty. From there, he/she will approve the new ownership, and you as the previous owner will receive an email verifying the transfer. If the transfer was made in error, you will be asked to contact the ALLFLEET Administrator immediately.
